Treyhtown September 8, 2009 at 12:51 PM

Well, technically it was made in America, since the first cars were made in America, but the japanese just stepped it up a whole level and made it cool.

nah, more or less they brought it into the mainstream and just tried doing it for longer periods of time. im sure if you told someone that had no idea what drifitng was about the basic concept of drifting they would call it a waste of tires and money. but watch the old dukes of hazzard. they are always going sideways around turns in a controlled way

JaxieBoy September 16, 2009 at 8:36 PM

True, that. The Japanese certainly had their own unique way of doing it, though.

azzanismo1 September 18, 2009 at 9:07 AM

Tsuchiya dosent just slide around corners controlling it he founded the whole fucken sport he is known as the drift king look it up ya knobs

Bgguy186 September 19, 2009 at 7:31 AM

he might have made it popular, but sliding sideways around a turn and controlling it has been done for so long. its part of driving.

azzanismo1 September 19, 2009 at 8:26 PM

retarded yanks drifting was inventd by tsuchiya ya know in JAPAN

yootoobaby September 20, 2009 at 6:37 PM

who cares where it started…i never even made a comment on that…all i said is that i can’t tell from that video whether that car has a 1000 hp or a 100 hp. it didn’t sound any more impressive than a 2008 stock v8 mustang. my take is that the person posting this video labeled it 1000 hp just to get someone to view it. i am not saying it is a horrible video, not even stating that the cars are not powerful…but a 1000 hp, whatever, why are the rears wheels so thin. i forgot…he’s drifting!

carlosr428 September 22, 2009 at 3:13 AM

Actually Zoddie is correct Drifting did start in America it was called something else and it was just a bunch of hillbillies havin fun and putin theyre cars sideways.

douglasskemp September 23, 2009 at 4:45 AM

Most people on youtube are still in school. Nothing humbles me more than someone not old enough to drink telling me how I am driving my car wrong, or that I don’t know what I am talking about. Thank you 99Draken99, as I agree fully with what you have to say.

lilcow418 September 25, 2009 at 12:07 PM
